Q. When I purchase tickets, will they be mailed?
A. They will not be mailed. A confirmation e-mail is sent to the e-mail address you provide when purchasing your tickets. A link to print your tickets on your home printer is included in the e-mail. Be sure to come to the event with your printed ticket. When printing your ticket be sure the bar code is legible. All tickets will be scanned at the door for authenticity and prevention of duplication. You may contact us if you need your confirmation e-mail resent to you.
Q. Where can I park?
A. There are numerous parking lots and garages in the vicinity. Click here for exact locations.
Q. What are the public transportation options to get to the event?
A. From out of the area, you can arrive by bus (Concord Coach), Amtrak train (The Downeaster), or plane (Portland International Jetport). Once in Portland, the METRO bus provides service between downtown and the airport, mall, and other outlying areas, such as Exit 48 where there are several hotels. Maps and route schedules can be found at www.gpmetrobus.com.
Q. Can I bring my children / infant(s) to any of the Harvest on the Harbor event activities?
A. Harvest on the Harbor is an adult only event and attendees of ALL AGES should be prepared to show a photo ID. (Maine's legal drinking age is 21 years and older). This event is not suited for infants, toddlers or children. (anyone under 21) For Harvest Dining at area restaurants, please check with individual restaurants about the suitability of bringing children.
Q. Can I bring my pet to Savory Samplings at the Marketplace?
A. Pets are not allowed at Harvest on the Harbor unless they are service dogs.
Q. Will I be able to purchase tickets on site, on the day of the event?
A. For any event that is not already sold-out, tickets will be available for purchase on-site. Many of the events sell out so to assure admittance to a particular event, we recommend you Purchase Tickets in Advance.
Q. Is there a single price for a ticket that is inclusive of all event activities?
A. Yes, you may purchase a "Harvest All Access Pass" for $325.00 per person. ($395.00 value) (This includes one ticket for each event during this four day festival - your choice of Session I or II for Saturday's Marketplace)
Q. Once I pay the admission price for a particular event, are there other fees to taste any of the foods, wines and spirits?
A. All tastings are part of the single admission price and there is no additional charge to sample products; all wine, beer, spirits and food samples are included in your ticket price. However, not only will you be able to sample hundreds of products for free, you will also be able to purchase certain products to take home with you. You will also be able to purchase an exclusive Harvest on the Harbor apron at all the events.
Q. Is there a limit to the number of wines, beers, and spirits I can taste at Harvest on the Harbor events?
A. There is no specific limit but please drink responsibly and, if driving to the event, please have a designated driver. Local taxi companies are also another option.
Q. If I’m not drinking, do I still have to pay the full admission price?
A. Yes, there is only one admission price.
Q. Is there a discount for purchasing a group of tickets to an event?

Q. Are there any hotels, bed & breakfasts or inns offering Harvest event tickets as part of their package price?
A. Greater Portland lodging establishments have put together special packages designed just for you and your Harvest on the Harbor experience. Please view our Lodging Reservations page for more information!
Q. What happens if it rains during Harvest on the Harbor?
A. All events will take place rain or shine. Everything takes place inside or under the Oceanside Pavilion tent. However, we have requested a beautiful, crisp fall day for the event!
Q. What is the attire for each individual event?
A. Wednesday’s Grand Tasting on the Harbor, as well as Thursday's Top of the Crop: Best Farm to Table Chef Competition, are considered “funky to fancy”, business or cocktail attire is suggested. We welcome you to come casual to Thursday’s Maine Lobster Chef of the Year Competition, Friday’s Culinary College Competition and the BBQ Brews & Blues events as well as Saturday's Savory Samplings at the Marketplace. Please keep in mind that Savory Samplings at The Marketplace is located outside under heated tents, if necessary, but we still suggest you dress for fall weather.
Q. If I can't make it and I have already purchased tickets can I get a refund?
A. All Harvest on the Harbor tickets are non-refundable. However, they are transferrable so you may give them to someone else who would like to attend.
Q. Will there be accessibility for handicap unloading, parking, and access?
A. Yes - Handicap guests can unload directly in front of the Visitor Information Center. Handicap parking is directly across the street from the venue - just show your handicap tag to the parking attendant and you will be admitted to the parking lot. Handicap guests will be admitted to the events 10 minutes before the general public for easy access to the venue. Please let people at the ticket counter know that you will need a little extra time getting into the venue and we will admit you ahead of the general admission ticket holders. All venues are wheelchair accessible.
