Thursday
11:30am-1:30pm The Ultimate Seafood Splash

Lynn Archer, of the Brass Compass Café, will prepare her famous “Princess Lobster Club,” a variation of the traditional dish that was voted ‘Best Lobster Club Sandwich’ on the Food Network’s Throwdown! with Bobby Flay. And don’t miss the stylings of celebrity chef Michael Ruoss, who ascended in the elite culinary empire of Emeril Lagasse for 11 years before becoming Corporate Chef of his own restaurant, Salu, in New Orleans. These flavorful dishes will be complemented by an assortment of crisp, premium organic wines from Chartrand Imports, Italian inspired, Maine perfected gelato from Gelato Fiasco, delectable cheese from Cabot Creamery Cooperative, a dash of flavor from Lakonia Greek Products, gourmet coffee by Bard Coffee and live music by The Dave Bullard Duo.
6pm-8:30pm Grand Tasting on the Harbor
This amuse-bouche (“pleasing to the palate”) event, sponsored by Inn by the Sea, features 20 of the region’s premier culinary establishments, and over 100 wines from Maine and around the world. At this signature event on Portland’s picturesque waterfront, guests will whet their appetites while sharing the rare opportunity to interact with esteemed chefs and beverage connoisseurs. A signature dessert will be presented by Sweet Marguerites, as well as gourmet coffee from Port Bean, and live music by North of Nashville.
Friday
11:30am-1:30pm Maine Lobster Chef of the Year Competition

Three Maine finalists prepare their best lobster dish in this succulent culinary showdown, sponsored by the Maine Lobster Council, and recorded to air on New England Sports Network (NESN). Audience members will choose who will take home the esteemed title of ‘Maine Lobster Chef of the Year,’ while enjoying a four-course lunch sampling, accompanied by a signature ‘Harvest’ whoopie pie prepared by Amy Bouchard of Wicked Whoopies, wine pairings from locally crafted Big Claw Wine and the leading importer of luxury wines and spirits, Moët Hennessy USA, and gourmet coffee by Bard Coffee.
5pm-7pm The Perfect Pairing:
Presenting Maine's James Beard Award Winners
Ocean View Room $55
Local James Beard award winning chefs Clark Frasier and Mark Gaier of Arrows, Melissa Kelly of Primo, and Sam Hayward of Fore Street, join forces in this not-to-be-missed epicurean affair, sponsored by Whole Foods Market, featuring tips, techniques and cooking demonstrations from these elite culinary professionals. This intimate gathering will feature gourmet hors d’oeuvres prepared with local products from Pineland Farms, paired with the perfect pours from Errazuriz. Guests will also be treated to a unique taste from Vervacious, a hand-crafted dessert by Kristin F. Simmons, flavorful coffee from Port Bean, and live music by Mr. E Jazz Trio.

With your complimentary Harvest on the Harbor embossed wine glass in hand, indulge in pure beverage and culinary creativity while taking in live music on the 94.9 WHOM Live Music Stage and Acoustic Music Stage from Andrea Delan, Emilia Dahlin, Marie Moreshead, Ramblin’ Red, Ryan Curran, This Way, and Pete Witham & The Cozmik Zombies!
Take in the aromas of the Grilling Stage, sponsored by Kayem Foods, Ravenswood Winery and Viking, where you’ll learn and taste the sizzling secrets of our local and national grill masters. Michael Ruoss, Corporate Chef of Salu in New Orleans, and Southern Maine Community College alumnus, will show you how to fire-up the perfect tailgating dish with Kayem Foods’ kielbasa with sauerkraut and Creole mustard, along with DennyMike’s ‘Cue Stuff who will make your mouth water with its legendary pulled pork and St. Louis style riblets. ‘Cue Culture rounds out this grilling trio with its Alabama style chicken with a ginger and wasabi sauce, all of which are accompanied by delectable cheese from Cabot Creamery Cooperative and the elegantly rustic and robust wines of Ravenswood Winery.
Get swept up by the delicious tastes of the Viking Sweet Stage hosted by Zac Young, Maine native and star of Bravo TV’s newest show Top Chef Just Desserts, who will also be showing the crowd how to make chocolate cream pie “on its side,” a reconstruction of the classic.. Stonewall Kitchen will dazzle your senses with a chocolate bread pudding with bourbon dulce de leche sauce and Simply Divine Brownies will take the mystery out of gluten-free baking with a delectable cranberry walnut brownie baking demonstration.
