Maine Visitors Channel is a 24/7 network offered in select hotels in southern Maine.  This locally-programmed channel is a special service for hotel guests that highlights the leading places in Maine to shop, what to do and where to dine!  Each highlight is a high quality, two minute video tour and interview to give visitors a real feel for things to do in Maine.  A local weather forecast is broadcast every 10 minutes to make sure visitors don't leave their hotel rooms without the right clothing (or umbrella).  A weekly "things-to-do" list, supplied by the Portland Convention and Visitors Bureau spotlights interesting and unusual activities in the area.  As one hotel manager put it, "Maine Visitors Channel is a digital concierge!"
