The warmest edge of the Russian River Valley, in California, has allowed Peter and Diana Merriam to create nine vintages of Bordeaux-style blends reminiscent of the wines that first inspired their French-style vineyard in the United States. The true blending of these wines begins in the vineyard, where merlot, cabernet franc, petit verdot, and cabernet sauvignon are planted side by side to capture the best of their Russian River Valley terroir.
