Jennifer Flock

 

Chef Jennifer Flock joined Browne Trading Co. as the Manager of the Browne Trading Retail Market and as our Corporate Chef in 2006. Her culinary career began in the kitchen, serving in various bakeries, restaurants and hotels across the country. Jen received her Culinary Degree from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Always curious in the ways of daily operations, she has worked her through various positions in the food service world. Most notably was a five year tenure at Portland, Maine’s acclaimed Fore Street Restaurant with Chef Sam Hayward. 
           
Prior to joining Browne Trading, she served as the Food and Beverage Director at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. She has also completed her second certification towards Master Sommelier, and plans to continue this pursuit. Completion of this accreditation would place Jen among only 15 women in North America to attain this title. Jen resides in Cape Elizabeth, Maine with her husband and two children.
