Tom Hansen, C.S.W., has written about wine, taught wine appreciation classes and organized wine events throughout southern Maine.  For several years, he wrote the “Wineguy”

column in the Portland Press Herald, and has made numerous TV and radio appearances locally.  He owned Market Wines and Meritage Wine Bar, and for three years

was the Fine Wine Buyer for Hannaford Supermarkets. 

 

Currently, Tom is Sales and Marketing Director for Chartrand Imports, a Maine-based importer of the world’s finest organic, biodynamic and traditionally-made wines.

At last year’s Harvest on The Harbor, he conducted the hugely popular “Making Sense of Wine” seminar.

 

Tom lives in Kennebunk with his wife and two children.
