Italian Cooking and the American Table with Lucinda Scala Quinn
October 23, 2009
05:30 pm - 07:30 pm
$35
Ocean View Room

Join one of the hosts of Everyday Food as she makes delicious Italian cooking easier and more accessible than ever. Lucinda will discuss how using fresh pesto and locally grown Maine potatoes can be transformed into some of the most delicious gnocchi! And how a trip to your local grocery store for simple ingredients is all you need to do to create a beef braciola that will keep your family warm and satisfied.

Tom Hanson from Chartrand Imports will pair each course with world class Italian wines from certified organic and biodynamic vineyards.

Lucinda has worked as chef, caterer, cooking teacher, and food writer. Lucinda oversees the food group, which contributes to Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (MSLO). Formerly the food editor of Martha Stewart Living Television, she is now a co-host of the Everyday Food cooking series on PBS.

Her recent cookbook, Lucinda’s RusticItalian Cooking, was released earlier this year. Lucinda’s Authentic Jamaican Kitchen, written prior to her joining MSLO, was re-released in April 2006. Her latest book, Mad Hungry, was released on October 15.
