This memorable black-tie affair is the pinnacle food and wine experience of Harvest on the Harbor. The evening begins with a raw bar and martini reception followed by a five-course gourmet meal with fine wines paired with each course. This unparalleled meal is prepared by two 2004 James Beard Award-winning guest chefs: New York City’s David Pasternack (Esca) and Portland’s own Sam Hayward (Fore Street) along with the Inn’s Executive Chef, Mitchell Kaldrovich.

Maine Culinary Awards
In addition to this consummate meal, special awards are presented to two legendary local food artisans.
Harvest on the Harbor presents the first-ever Maine Culinary Awards, which will be given annually for outstanding local accomplishments in supporting, promoting and encouraging the culinary evolution of Maine. In this inaugural award year, we celebrate those who have helped establish Maine as the culinary destination spot it has become today: Rod Browne Mitchell, founder of Browne Trading Company of Portland, renowned purveyor of the world’s finest seafood, caviar and specialty products; and Sam Hayward, James Beard Award-winning chef/co-owner of Fore Street Restaurant in Portland.
