Harvest on the Harbor’s kick-off event showcases unexpected flavors fresh from the boat! Four of Maine’s best seafood chefs, Cassady Pappas of Havana South, Sam Hayward of Fore Street, Mitchell Kaldrovich of Sea Glass, and Adam White of The Salt Exchange, and a special appearance by celebrity chef Michael Ruoss of Salu, all renowned for their culinary creativity, team up with fishermen and farmers, Ricky Trundy, Richard Kolseth, Rob Odlin, Glen Libby, and Morey Levovitz to prepare surprising delicacies fresh from the Gulf of Maine. Enjoy mouth-watering tastings, original recipes, and cooking tips for responsibly harvested and delectable seafood from the cold coastal waters of Maine.
Learn from both fishermen and chefs as you explore sensational seafood samplings infused with and creativity flair. Pair the exquisite food with marvelous wines provided by Prestige Wine Imports and Central Distributors. While you sip stunning wines and are educated about the Casco Bay fish by Gulf of Maine Research Institute, enjoy samples from Maine Aquaculture Association, world leaders in sustainably farmed seafood: Ocean Approved LLC, Cooke Aquaculture Inc., Nonesuch Oysters, Calendar Island Mussel Co., and Bagaduce River Oyster Co. This is your opportunity to meet the culinary talent who’ll help you create responsibly harvested seafood sensations that will impress your family and friends.
